ASK Private Wealth recently announced the launch of the ASK Wealth Advisors (ASKWA) India Opportunities Fund, a Category III Alternative Investment Fund (AIF) in the International Financial Services Centre (IFSC) of GIFT City. This fund is structured as a Fund of Funds, specifically targeting Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) and Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs), with the exception of residents from the United States and Canada.

The ASKWA India Opportunities Fund provides offshore investors with a unique opportunity to participate in the dynamic and fast-growing Indian capital markets. The fund is designed to attract $100 million and is managed by a diverse group of fund managers with a strong emphasis on risk-adjusted returns. It focuses on high-quality companies with scalable business models, strong management teams, and sustainable competitive advantages, making it an ideal investment vehicle for those looking to tap into India’s growth story without the complexities of direct investments.

The ASK Wealth Advisors India Opportunities Fund represents a significant opportunity for global investors to participate in India’s economic rise through a well-structured and professionally managed investment platform

Rajesh Saluja, CEO and MD of ASK Private Wealth, highlighted the resilience of Indian capital markets in the face of global economic challenges, attributing this strength to India’s rapidly growing economy. He stated, “The ASKWA India Opportunities Fund provides NRIs and OCIs with an expertly managed platform to participate in India’s growth while diversifying their portfolios in alignment with their investment goals.”

Somnath Mukherjee, CIO and Senior Managing Partner at ASK Private Wealth, noted that until now, portfolio investments have been primarily aggregated in international financial centers such as Singapore, Hong Kong, and Mauritius. He emphasized that GIFT City offers a world-class proposition, enabling ASKWA to introduce a multi-manager equity vehicle for offshore investors seeking exposure to India. “Our structure allows investors to access multiple investment styles through various managers, all unified by ASKWA’s ability to curate, evaluate, and innovate solutions tailored for investors,” Mukherjee explained.
