Prominent NRI leader SM Syed Khalilur Rehman, widely known as CA Khalil, passed away in Dubai on November 21, 2024, at the age of 86, reported.
The celebrated community figure succumbed to complications following a double heart attack, despite receiving treatment at Aster Hospital in Mankhool. His son, Rais Ahmed, confirmed that Khalil had been hospitalized two days earlier due to severe leg weakness.
Khalil’s passing has left a profound void in the hearts of many, particularly in his hometown of Bhatkal, Karnataka, where he was revered for his contributions to education, philanthropy, and community development.
