With over 16.88 million anti-Covid-19 vaccine doses administered in the United Arab Emirates, the country has adopted a booster dose policy based on individual priority.

Among the group of people to take the booster dose on priority basis are high-risk people like senior citizens and those with chronic diseases.

The high-risk people would get the booster dose three months after taking the first dose, while common people can take the booster dose six months after both the doses

A top UAE official made an announcement regarding booster doses.

The high-risk people would get the booster dose three months after taking the first dose.

Common people can take the booster dose six months after both doses.

As per experts, the booster dose would enhance immunity, particularly against new variants.
