NRI Patel brothers donate 1kg gold to Ambaji Temple in Gujarat

Banaskantha district collector Anand Patel, who is the ex-officio chairman of Aarasuri Ambaji Mata Devasthan Trust, received the gold biscuits

Two US-based NRIs donated 1kg gold to Ambaji Temple, Banaskantha in the Indian state of Gujarat. The price of the gold is estimated at Rs 48 lakh.
The NRIs Mahendra Patel and his brother Harshad Patel are ardent devotees of Ambaji, but due to the Covid-19 pandemic, they could not make it to the temple for routine pilgrimage.
They sent the donation through their parents. Natvarlal Patel, the father of both the brothers, made the offerings on behalf of his sons.
Banaskantha district collector Anand Patel received the gold biscuits. By being district collector Anand Patel is the ex-officio chairman of Aarasuri Ambaji Mata Devasthan Trust (SAAMDT).
The Patel brothers are a grocery giant in the US.
