Indian American community leader and commissioner on President Joe Biden’s Advisory Commission on Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians and Pacific Islanders Ajay Bhutoria, hosted a roundtable discussion in San Francisco recently on peace, harmony and safety within the Indian American community with US Department of Justice.

There were members from the Hindu, Sikh, Jain, and Muslim communities at the round table who addressed recent concerns within the Indian American community, including safety and security of the Indian consulate, hate crimes, and community tensions, reported ToI.

Department of Justice representatives Harpreet Mokha and Vincent Player were present at the event to listen to the community’s concerns.
