The NRE Eve+ scheme offers a host of tailored benefits that are intended to enhance the financial journey of NRI women
Federal Bank has taken a significant step towards empowering NRI women by launching a specialized NR savings account scheme called NRE Eve+. This initiative was officially announced on July 26, 2023, in conjunction with the commencement of the FIFA Women’s World Cup, and it aims to address the specific financial needs of NRI women. The virtual launch event saw the product theme being unveiled by Shyam Srinivasan, the Managing Director, and CEO of Federal Bank.
The NRE Eve+ scheme offers a host of tailored benefits that are intended to enhance the financial journey of NRI women. One of the key highlights is the exclusively designed debit card, which was presented to the first NRE Eve+ customer by Ms. Shalini Warrier, the Executive Director of Federal Bank. Notable personalities like Ms. Beena Muraleedharan, Executive Director of SFC Group, Ms. Danesa Thandassery Raghulal, Executive Director of Elite Foods Pvt Ltd, and Ms. Jean Shahdadpuri, Managing Director of Nikai Group of Companies, were among the first account holders to receive this special debit card from Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
With the NRE Eve+ account, women will enjoy complimentary access to both international and domestic airport lounges, elevating their travel experiences with a touch of luxury and convenience. The debit card comes packed with a variety of customised offers, spanning beauty, healthcare, shopping, dining, travel, and entertainment, all personalized to cater to the preferences of women. Moreover, the NRE Eve+ account offers zero balance savings accounts for up to two children below the age of 12, ensuring that the benefits extend to the entire family.
As the FIFA Women’s World Cup kicks off, Federal Bank’s NRE Eve+ scheme takes center stage, offering NRI women a robust and empowering financial solution tailored to their needs and aspirations. With a focus on enhancing convenience, providing exclusive deals, and ensuring financial security through insurance coverage, the NRE Eve+ account is set to make a meaningful difference in the lives of NRI women across the globe
Perhaps one of the most valuable features of the NRE Eve+ account is the comprehensive insurance coverage it provides. Account holders will receive coverage of up to ₹78 Lakh, which includes benefits for child education, accidental death, hospital cash, and card protection. This insurance coverage offers a safety net for NRI women and their families, adding an extra layer of security and peace of mind.
