First Indian American Shree Saini to represent US at Miss World 2021

She proudly asserts “There is a reason why God made me an Indian American. I lovingly represent our multicultural world and our new world. Being multicultural is a blessing. It allows me to connect with both western and eastern cultures”. The pageant’s grand finale will be held on December 16. 

Shree Saini, is the first Asian (or Indian American) to represent the US and be crowned Miss World America at the 70th edition of Miss World pageant. She is now in Puerto Rico, where the grand finale of the pageant will be held on December 16.

Toni-Ann Singh of Jamaica will crown her successor at the end of the event. This year, the swimsuit competition (Miss World Beach Beauty) will return after a five-year hiatus.

Puerto Rico is a Caribbean Island and unincorporated US territory with a landscape of mountains, waterfalls and the El Yunque tropical rainforest.

In her message sent to the well-wishers, from Puerto Rico, Shree Sani said, “God has led me to the Miss World stage and I lovingly seek your prayers over my journey. God’s amazing grace has surpassed all the words I may have to express this blessing”. 

“I am humbled to apply for the greatest service job in the whole world. Have completed 10+ years of sincere community service work with over 100+ nonprofits. I’m honored to represent millions of Americans and my Indian heritage”.

Her mother (Abohar-born) Ekta said Shree’s official video took her months of shooting with more than 30 appointments with doctors, dignitaries, teachers, students, government officials, 50+ hours travelling and 200+ hours of video editing work.
