India achieved a major milestone in Covid-19 vaccination by administering 1 billion Covid vaccine doses just in 9 months after the beginning of nationwide vaccination drive on January 16, 2021.

With 12 crore vaccinations the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh is top in the list followed by Maharashtra and Gujarat.
