Aerospace and defence expert Ravi Chaudhary has been given a key position in the US Administration. An Indian American, Ravi Chaudhary was nominated for the position of the assistant secretary of the Air Force for Installations, Energy and the Environment, PTI reported.
Chaudhary served as a senior executive at the US Department of Transportation as Director of Advanced Programmes and Innovation. He also held positions in the Office of Commercial Space, at the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
Ravi Chaudhary also served in the Obama Administration as member of the President’s Advisory Commission on Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders.
According to PTI, the Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Energy, Installations, and Environment (SAF/IE) is a civilian office in the United States Department of the Air Force.
