Fahad Ahmed Khan Suri, the newly appointed Consul General of India in Jeddah, has outlined a strategic plan to enhance trade relations between India and Saudi Arabia. At a reception held in his honor, Suri expressed his appreciation for the warm welcome from the Indian community and stressed the need for stronger economic partnerships between the two nations.

Suri assured the community that open house sessions with the consulate would continue, with a renewed focus on addressing the needs of Indian nationals in a more targeted and efficient manner

Suri highlighted the significant role Indian professionals and businesses can play in bolstering bilateral trade. He emphasized that by expanding trade avenues, both countries can benefit from increased cultural and economic exchanges, fostering mutual prosperity.

One of Suri’s key initiatives is the creation of a comprehensive database of Indian businesses and professionals in Saudi Arabia. This registration system aims to streamline communication and collaboration, enhancing the presence and contribution of the Indian diaspora in the local economy.
