MEA advises Indian nationals to leave Ukraine temporarily

An advisory issued by the Indian Embassy in Kyiv called upon Indian nationals particularly the students who are staying in the country for non-essential purposes to stay away from the country for the time being

Indian nationals living in Ukraine have been advised to leave the country temporarily in wake of the current situation and amid speculations of an invasion from Russia.

In an advisory the Indian Embassy in Kyiv advised the Indian nationals particularly the students and other nationals who are staying in the country for non-essential purposes to stay away from the country for the time being.

“Indian nationals are requested to keep the Embassy informed about the status of their presence in Ukraine to enable the Embassy to reach out to them where required. The Embassy continues to function normally to provide all services to Indian nationals in Ukraine,” said the advisory.
