Bahrain has lifted restrictions of travellers from India. In fact, India is no longer on the Red list of countries.

The Embassy of Bahrain in India informed in a Tweet that Indian citizens will have to undergo three RT-PCR tests; first, on the day of arrival, second on the fifth day, and the last on the 10th day after arrival.

Quarantine for a period of 10 days at one’s residence or at a quarantine centre licensed by the National Health Regulatory Authority. Passengers under six years of age did not need any tests and were required to quarantine for only five days.

All travellers would also be required to activate the ‘BeAware Bahrain’ application and sign an agreement to self-isolate, which requires them to quarantine at their place of residence until their arrival test results are available

Passengers who choose to spend their quarantine periods in their homes must provide proof of residence, whether owned or rented in their name or the name of an immediate relative, before boarding.

All travellers would also be required to activate the ‘BeAware Bahrain’ application and sign an agreement to self-isolate, which requires them to quarantine at their place of residence until their arrival test results are available. Earlier, India was among the 22 countries that were added in the Red list countries by Bahrain.
