The Goa government has extended Covid-19 curfew by another week up to
September 20
Goa has made quarantine mandatory for visitors from Kerala and they will also have to
mandatorily produce a negative RT-PCR test certificate.
At least two districts have called for institutional quarantine of five days for all students and employees coming from Kerala. “At the end of five days, they shall be tested by RT-PCR,” order from respective district magistrates said.
For students quarantine, the principals and institutions will be responsible while the employees’ quarantine would be taken care by the respective companies.
The order, however, will not be applicable on constitutional functionaries, healthcare professionals and their spouses, children below two years, those in a dire emergency like a death in the family and those passing through the state.
