How to make Paneer 65

Recipe: Paneer 65

Ingredients For Batter : (For 250 gms of Paneer)

¼ cup cornflour

2 tablespoon rice flour

 ½  teaspoon Black pepper crushed

¼ teaspoon turmeric powder

½ teaspoon Kashmiri Red Chilli powder

¼ teaspoon garam masala powder

1 teaspoon Ginger Garlic paste

2 tablespoon curd (Whisked)

1 teaspoon Lemon juice

½ Teaspoon Salt

¼ cup water

Paneer -250 gms

Oil for frying

 

Ingredients For Sauce:

 

3 Teaspoon Oil

1 dried red chilli

A hand full of washed curry leaves

1 teaspoon cumin seeds for tadka

6 cloves of garlic (Finely chopped)

½ inch Ginger ( Finely chopped)

1 Green chilli slit it 

2 tablespoon tomato sauce

1 teaspoon chilli sauce

Salt to taste

2 drops of red food colour (optional)

3-4 tablespoon Water

2 tablespoon whisked curd

Spring onion/ garlic leaves (chopped for garnish)

 

Steps to prepare Lip-smacking  Paneer 65

 

  1. Making Paneer fry

Take a large bowl, and add ¼ cup Corn flour and Rice flour. Also add black pepper, Chilli powder, Turmeric powder, garam masala powder, Ginger garlic paste, Lemon juice salt and whisked curd.

Mix all the ingredients well. Add water and make the mixture lump-free. The batter should be of thick consistency.  

 

Cut paneer into cubes, Add the cubes in the batter and coat the cubes well.

Rest the cubes in the batter for 5 minutes.

Take a frying pan and heat Oil on medium flame and deep fry the coated paneer cubes until the cubes turn golden brown.

Finally, drain out the fried paneer cubes on paper and keep them aside.

 

  1. Preparing Sauce:

Take a large pan and heat 3 teaspoons full oil in it. Add cumin seeds, dried red chilli, curry leaves, and green chilli slit. Saute them on high flame. Then add finely chopped garlic and ginger and saute further on high flame. 

Then add Tomato sauce, Chilli sauce and salt to taste. Stir fry on high flame

Then put the flame on low and add 2 tablespoons of water and whisked curd. 

Mix well until the curd combines well. Optionally 2 drops of food colour can be added for bright red colour. 

Now add the fried paneer and mix it well. Finally, garnish paneer 65 with chopped spring onions or garlic leaves.
