ISG Class 12 students back to classroom studies

The students, too, were happy and elated to get back to normal school life, just like it was in the pre-pandemic days while the staff made sure all Covid protocols were maintained

After a long gap of 18 months the Indian School Ghubra campus was agog with excitement when Class 12 students got back to physically resume regular school activities from Sunday, October 10.

The Principal, Vice Principal, members of the School Management, teachers and office staff, were on hand to warmly welcome and greet the students.

The students, too, were happy and elated to get back to normal school life, just like it was in the pre-pandemic days. Apart from meeting up with classmates, all the students looked eager to get started with classroom studies and other routine activities.

But amid all the excitement and hubbub, the staff kept a keen eye to ensure that all Covid protocols were in place like wearing masks, getting vaccination certificates checked and observing social distancing.

The number of students has been restricted to just 24. Students were asked to follow directional arrows to reach their designated classroom and follow seating instructions as well.

But amid all the excitement and hubbub, the staff kept a keen eye to ensure that all Covid protocols were in place like wearing masks, getting vaccination certificates checked and observing social distancing.

As instructed, the students followed the arrows marked in the corridors and on the stairs to go to their classrooms and sit in their assigned places. The number of students in each classroom was restricted to 24.

The students were glad to participate in classroom activities and interact face to face with their teachers and peers.

Classes began with a video presenting the welcome messages by Mr. Ahmed Rayees, President-SMC, the Principal, Mrs. Papri Ghosh, the Vice-Principal, Mr. G. Sreekumar and teachers.

Colourful display of charts and posters on the school boards in the foyer and the corridors spread a feeling of warmth and cheer among students.

The management and the staff of ISG have taken extreme care to ensure the smooth transition of classes from online to offline taking into consideration the physical, mental as well as emotional well-being of the students.
