In a groundbreaking development in the field of international education guidance, Patriek Karayil, a seasoned education expert and a board advisor to the American Education Board, has introduced “American Colleges.”

This initiative aims to provide transparent, unbiased, and mostly cost-free guidance to students seeking educational opportunities in the United States and Canada, as reported by Passionate in Marketing.

Based in Washington, D.C., the concept of “American Colleges” was born out of Karayil’s personal experiences as an international student navigating the complexities of the U.S. education system. It also stemmed from his extensive background in education, during which he observed the growing challenges faced by international students. The initiative now maintains offices in Thrissur, Kerala, and Dubai, UAE.

The organization’s strategic partnership with the American Education Board ensures that students receive real-time insights into evolving university policies and visa regulations, ensuring timely and accurate guidance

Recognizing the lack of impartial and dependable information available to students, Karayil identified a concerning trend in the education industry. Many profit-driven educational agents were prioritizing commissions from universities over the genuine interests of students. This commercial orientation often led students down paths that may not have been aligned with their individual goals and aspirations.

Patriek Karayil, the driving force behind “American Colleges,” holds a wealth of experience in the education sector. After completing his high school education, he became an alumnus of Arizona State University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He has held key positions such as the Former Vice President for U.S. News Global Education, CMO for Shorelight Education, CEO advisor for INTO Global, and CMO advisor to 2U. He has also provided consulting and collaboration services to over 50 U.S. universities regarding their admissions and enrollment strategies. Currently, he serves as the President of American Colleges and is a board advisor to the American Education Board.

The fundamental principle of “American Colleges” is its commitment to operating primarily as a not-for-profit entity. This is aimed at creating a level playing field for all students aspiring to study abroad. The organization is dedicated to offering primarily free resources while eschewing any vested interests, as evidenced by its decision to forgo both university commissions and student counseling fees. This model ensures that the best interests of the students are the primary consideration, with little to no cost incurred by the students.

“American Colleges” is a testament to Patriek Karayil’s journey and his vision to provide unbiased, clear, and comprehensive guidance to every student aspiring to study in the U.S. and Canada. He articulates this vision, saying, “Our mission is to place students at the forefront, provide unwavering support, and help shape a brighter future.”

Christine Krier, the Managing Director of the American Education Board, expressed her enthusiasm for the collaboration with “American Colleges” and the opportunity to educate and empower students. Key features of “American Colleges” include its not-for-profit status, the provision of mostly free resources, its affiliation with the American Education Board, the absence of university commissions, daily educational videos on YouTube, personalized guidance through social media, reasonably priced masterclasses, and a resolute commitment to integrity and student-centricity.

Through “American Colleges,” Karayil and his team encourage parents and students who aspire to study in the U.S. and Canada to subscribe to their YouTube channel. The channel offers valuable insights into admission processes, visa requirements, financial aid, and more. The organization’s strategic partnership with the American Education Board ensures that students receive real-time insights into evolving university policies and visa regulations, ensuring timely and accurate guidance.
