Hyderabad, Calicut, Jaipur, Trivandrum, and Lucknow are new destinations
SalamAir, the budget carrier of Oman, has unveiled a substantial expansion of its routes, introducing five prominent Indian cities to its network. This strategic move signifies a notable enhancement in the airline’s connectivity to India. The newly incorporated destinations encompass Hyderabad, Calicut, Jaipur, Trivandrum, and Lucknow.
A press release from SalamAir highlighted, “The foray into the Indian market has been successfully realized through the unwavering support of the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) of the Sultanate of Oman, coupled with the close collaboration with Oman Air.”
As of now, SalamAir operates services to more than 41 destinations. The airline offers non-stop flights connecting Fujairah in the UAE and Dubai. In addition to its international routes, SalamAir conducts domestic flights to various key destinations within Oman, including Muscat, Salalah, Suhar, Duqm, and Masirah. This expansion reflects SalamAir’s commitment to broadening its reach and providing increased travel options for passengers across the region.
