The Times of India made a grand entrance into the UAE by hosting the Times of India Realty Show, a premier event that took place in Abu Dhabi on June 1 and 2, 2024. Held at the prestigious Royal Rose Hotel, the event was organized by Introductions Trade Shows and marked a significant moment for both The Times of India and India’s real estate sector. The show served as a vital platform to bridge the gap between Indian real estate developers and the NRI community in Abu Dhabi and surrounding regions.

This event attracted enthusiastic participation from NRIs, showcasing a unique blend of real estate opportunities and a celebration of Indian culture. Various Indian community associations, including the Abu Dhabi Karnataka Sangh, India Peoples Forum (IPF), India Social & Cultural Centre Abu Dhabi, Telangana Friends Association, and Bihar & Jharkhand Samaj, supported the event. Their involvement not only lent credibility to the show but also fostered a community-driven environment, reinforcing the deep connection between India and its diaspora.

The success of this event has paved the way for more collaborations and future editions, as both developers and NRIs look forward to continued engagement

Fifteen leading real estate developers from major Indian cities such as Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, and Mangalore participated in the two-day event. Prominent names included Shriram Properties, the Platinum Sponsor, and AIIKYA Village, the Gold Sponsor. Developers like Assetz Properties, Brigade, Casagrand, Sumadhura, Total Environment, Puravankara, Prestige, and more showcased their finest residential and commercial properties. Attendees had a diverse array of options, from luxurious villas and modern apartments to investment-worthy commercial spaces, catering to different preferences and investment goals.

The event saw a remarkable turnout of over 1,100 attendees, reflecting the growing interest among NRIs in securing property in India. With the Indian real estate market booming, especially in cities like Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Chennai, the expo provided NRIs a direct link to explore investment opportunities back home. Attendees engaged with developers, gained insights into new projects, and benefitted from exclusive offers. Many participants were able to secure on-the-spot bookings, making their dream of owning property in India a reality in a seamless and efficient manner.

The success of the Times of India Realty Show has set a promising tone for future collaborations. The overwhelming response from both NRIs and developers highlights the increasing demand for Indian real estate within the NRI community in the UAE. As India’s real estate market continues to thrive, events like these will remain essential for NRIs looking to stay connected to their roots while making sound investments.

Additionally, the event underscored the important role that Indian community associations play in mobilizing NRIs for such initiatives. Their involvement ensured a diverse and vibrant turnout, contributing significantly to the overall success of the show.
