Better chances of employability and acceptance in reputed organisations prevail over the Covid-19 pandemic situation among the Indian students who choose to study abroad. However, the other major factor for them to opt for the foreign study is the online study environment that is taking a toll on young minds.

ForeignAdmits, India’s premier platform that guides students to pursue their dream to study abroad, conducted a survey comprising 12,000 people in India and 17 other countries in mid-July.

The fast track vaccination drive globally rekindled students’ hope to study abroad. A large number of respondents, 64 per cent, admitted to have their plans to study in US and Canada

The survey participants were high school pass outs, under-graduates, post-graduates, and working professionals.

Their initial plan looked spoiled due to ever-increasing Covid-19 cases, but globally, the fast track vaccination drive rekindled their hope. A large number of respondents, 64 per cent, admitted to have their plans to study in US and Canada.

The Mentor Conference 2021 Polls, done by ForeignAdmits, showed a positive trend among foreign university students.

According to the poll, 79 per cent of students believed studying abroad would “increase their employability because of the higher chances of acceptance in reputed organisations.”

The hybrid or virtual mode of education was no more appealing to the students, as 71 per cent preferred to go for face-to-face learning. At the same time they were aware of the benefits of studying abroad.

Meanwhile, the United States Mission in India recently announced that its Embassy and Consulates approved more student visa applicants in 2021 than ever before, despite the global Covid-19 pandemic.

Through these efforts, more than 55,000 students and exchange visitors are boarding planes to study in the United States, and more students are being approved every day. The U.S. Mission looks forward to another great student season as it facilitates study for spring semester students over the coming few months.

Demand for the UK educational institutions among Indian students is also high. The latest trend shows an increase in the number of students who opted for UK universities and colleges over domestic ones. Despite lockdowns and many other situations arising out of the Covid-19 pandemic, the United Kingdom (UK) university and college courses are still popular among Indian students.

According to the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS), there has been a 19 per cent increase in enrolment of students from India in UK universities in 2021, marking the number at 3,200.
