Bilateral ties, regional developments, and multilateral cooperation discussed
The 19th India-Iran Foreign Office Consultations (FOC) took place in New Delhi on January 3, 2025, co-chaired by Shri Vikram Misri, Foreign Secretary of India, and Dr. Majid Takht Ravanchi, Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs of Iran.
The discussions covered a wide range of bilateral matters, including the development of Chabahar Port, trade and economic cooperation, agricultural partnerships, and cultural exchanges. The two sides also reviewed regional and global issues, focusing on Afghanistan, West Asia, and the South Caucasus.
