A 25-year-old Indian man from Hyderabad, Sheraz Mehtab Mohammed, tragically died in a road accident on Sunday in Evanston, a suburb of Chicago, Illinois, reported gujaratsamachar.com.

Mohammed, who had recently moved to the United States for better career opportunities, leaves behind a grieving family in Hyderabad.

Residents in Chanchalguda, Hyderabad, have been informed about the incident. His father, Altaf Mohammed Khan, stated that efforts are underway to repatriate Sheraz’s body to India.

The accident occurred just two days after another Hyderabad native, 27-year-old Chandrashekar Pole, was fatally shot at a gas station in Dallas, Texas, while pursuing higher education

The Consulate General of India in Houston has expressed condolences for both tragedies and is providing assistance to the families.

In a statement on X, the consulate said, “Consulate General of India, Houston, deeply condoles the tragic death of Mr Chandrasekhar Pole, an Indian student from Hyderabad, who was killed in a shooting incident in Denton, Texas.
