Argument With Flight Attendant in US: Viral TikTok video shows heated exchange onboard Spirit Airlines; flight delayed by over an hour before police intervention
Three women of Indian origin were forcibly removed from a Spirit Airlines flight in the United States following a tense confrontation with a flight attendant, a moment captured on video and widely shared across TikTok and other social media platforms, reported cnbctv18.com.
The incident, which sparked a delay of over an hour, involved accusations of misinformation and ended with the police escorting the women off the flight.
The viral video, uploaded by TikTok user @khamisidrismoh, has garnered over 4 million views. The footage shows the altercation starting when the flight attendant incorrectly stated New Orleans as the destination. Although she later admitted her mistake, the passengers challenged her credibility, prompting the crew member to threaten removal.
“You have said so many times that it is New Orleans. So first of all, you have to know where we are going,” one woman is heard saying in the video.
The flight attendant, visibly agitated, responded, “Okay, you know, just for that, I’m going to make sure you guys get off. This is easy for me. Watch.”
As tensions escalated, airport police arrived on board, leading to further delays. In a follow-up TikTok clip, an officer is seen attempting to reason with the women, saying: “Stand up and walk with us. We can talk more out there.”
Despite initial resistance and heated exchanges with law enforcement, the women eventually complied and deplaned, ending the standoff that delayed the flight by more than an hour.
The incident has sparked online debate around airline policies, crew-passenger relations, and handling of in-flight conflicts, especially when caught on camera and made public.
