A tragic end met the dreams of 26-year-old Chandrasekhar Pole, a Dalit youth from Telangana, who was shot dead during a robbery at a gas station in Dallas, United States. Chandrasekhar had moved to the US in 2023 to pursue higher education after completing his Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) in Hyderabad, reported gujaratsamachar.com.
He had completed his master’s degree six months ago and was working part-time at a gas station while seeking full-time employment.

Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy expressed deep grief over the incident, posting on X: “The death of Pole Chandrasekhar, a student from LB Nagar, in a shooting incident by miscreants in America has caused deep shock and grief. I pray to God that his soul may find peace and express my profound condolences to his family members. The government will stand by Chandrasekhar’s family. We will provide all possible assistance to bring his mortal remains back to his hometown.”
