5,000 J&K students to get training under ‘Sahi Raasta’ programme

In a recent interaction with youths and local citizens in Jammu and Kashmir, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, exhorted the new generation youths to choose right path under ‘Sahi Raasta’ programme organized by the Indian Army in Pattan, Baramulla, news agency ANI reported.

“The cultural programme encourages youth to stay away from bad activities and indulge themselves in moral deeds. In this session, youth and locals share their experiences of transforming their ideologies,” said the report.

ANI quoted Lt Governor as saying, “The number of youths and locals attending the programme will be increased in future. We will train 5,000 children for their bright future here.”

The programme is an Indian Army initiative in collaboration with the UT administration of Jammu and Kashmir. The idea is to bring back the misguided youths back in the mainstream and remove their misconceptions via counselling

Keeping peace and harmony as main agenda of the state, Sinha appreciated the security forces for their actions towards maintaining peace and harmony in Jammu and Kashmir.
