Visit Qatar made a grand impact at Outbound Travel Mart (OTM) 2025 in Mumbai, presenting its diverse tourism offerings, cultural heritage, and luxury experiences to the Indian travel market. The three-day event, held from January 30 to February 1 at the Jio World Convention Centre, served as a key platform for industry collaborations, reported travelandtourworld.com.

Qatar’s growing tourism sector sees India as a major contributor

With a record-breaking five million international travelers in 2024, Qatar’s tourism industry continues to expand, with India ranking as the second-largest source market, contributing 8.3% of total arrivals. Recognizing this potential, Visit Qatar leveraged OTM 2025 to deepen its engagement with Indian travelers and industry stakeholders.

Strategic partnerships and immersive experiences captivate visitors

The Visit Qatar pavilion featured leading hospitality and tourism partners, including Qatar Airways, Radisson Blu Doha, Rixos Gulf Hotel Doha, Discover Qatar, and Tawfeeq Holidays. Visitors enjoyed immersive experiences such as QVerse, an augmented reality showcase of Qsuite—Qatar Airways’ private business-class suite—along with live Arabic calligraphy demonstrations and interactive exhibits of Qatar’s top attractions.

Commitment to enhancing Qatar’s global appeal

Visit Qatar remains dedicated to strengthening its presence in key international markets by participating in leading travel trade events like OTM. Through strategic industry collaborations and innovative tourism initiatives, Qatar continues to position itself as a premier global destination.
