Venkataraman Vajapayajula, the Ambassador of India to the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), has been concurrently accredited as India’s Ambassador to the Central African Republic. His official residence will remain in Kinshasa, the capital city of the DRC.
India strengthens diplomatic ties with the Central African Republic through dual accreditation.
Vajapayajula, a 2005 batch officer of the Indian Foreign Service (IFS), brings extensive diplomatic experience, further strengthening India’s foreign policy objectives in the African region
The Ministry of External Affairs announced that Vajapayajula is expected to take up his new assignment shortly. This dual role reflects India’s commitment to enhancing its diplomatic presence and bilateral relations with African nations.
