In the wake of a heartbreaking incident, the Consulate General of India in Dubai has pledged full support to the families of two Indian nationals from Telangana, Ashtapu Premsagar and Srinivas, who were killed in an attack at a bakery in Dubai on April 11, 2025.
The consulate confirmed it is in constant touch with Dubai authorities and Indian community members to ensure that all necessary assistance is extended to the grieving families, reported khaleejtimes.com.
Indian officials are coordinating efforts for urgent repatriation and investigation after two Indian expats from Telangana lost their lives in Dubai.
The two deceased victims, Ashtapu Premsagar (35) from Soan village in Nirmal district and Srinivas from Nizamabad district, were reportedly attacked while at work in a Dubai bakery.
Another Indian national, Sagar, was injured in the same incident and is currently receiving medical treatment in a Dubai hospital, as confirmed by his wife.
Premsagar, who had been employed at the bakery for over five years, leaves behind a grieving wife and two children. His family, awaiting formal communication, has appealed to the Indian government for help in repatriating his remains.

The Consulate General reiterated its commitment to monitoring the case closely while assisting both the injured victim and the bereaved families during this difficult time. Investigations into the attack are currently ongoing, and the Indian mission is actively liaising with the authorities to ensure justice is served.
