Second Indo-UAE Cybersecurity Exchange reinforces digital security ties between the two nations
The Data Security Council of India (DSCI), in partnership with CIO Klub, hosted the second edition of the Indo-UAE Cybersecurity Exchange in Dubai during GISEC Global 2025, reaffirming the strengthening cybersecurity ties between India and the United Arab Emirates, reported ddnews.gov.in.

Held at the Dubai World Trade Centre, the event drew prominent figures from both nations’ cybersecurity and technology sectors, focusing on threat mitigation, privacy, and secure digital infrastructure.
The India Pavilion, curated by DSCI, featured 15+ Indian companies offering advanced solutions in threat intelligence, application security, Security Operations Centers (SOCs), data privacy, and quantum technologies.
B.G. Krishnan, Consul (Economic, Trade, Commerce & Education) at the Indian Consulate in Dubai, emphasized the global implications of cybersecurity, citing geopolitical tensions, technological disruptions, and evolving digital threats. “The world is at a critical juncture from cybersecurity, privacy, and critical technology perspectives,” he stated.
Atul Kumar, Director at DSCI, stressed the strategic relevance of Indo-UAE collaboration in digital infrastructure: “As both nations digitize rapidly, there is significant scope to jointly nurture resilient cybersecurity ecosystems,” he said. Discussions also focused on cyber resilience, leadership development, and technology innovation.
The event concluded with DSCI reiterating its long-term commitment to working closely with UAE stakeholders to address complex cyber challenges. India’s growing role at GISEC Global 2025, which concludes on May 8, reflects its emergence as a key global player in cybersecurity innovation and resilience.
