Saudi Arabia has unveiled ‘Nusuk Umrah’, a new digital platform designed to simplify the pilgrimage process for Muslims worldwide. According to the Saudi Press Agency, the initiative aims to enhance service quality, streamline procedures, and enrich the spiritual journey for visitors. The service is available via a multilingual website and mobile apps on iOS, Android, and Huawei devices.

Modern features for global accessibility

Nusuk Umrah’s user-friendly interface supports seven languages and integrates with government systems to ensure smooth application and approval processes.

The platform provides multiple payment options and covers every stage—from applying for a visa to completing bookings. Pilgrims can choose between integrated packages or tailor individual services to suit personal preferences.

The platform complements existing accredited travel agents, offering pilgrims greater flexibility and direct access to services

Supporting Saudi Vision 2030 goals

The launch is aligned with Saudi Vision 2030, which seeks to increase the number of visiting Muslims and elevate their experience through high-quality, technology-driven services.

Saudi Arabia, home to Makkah and Madinah, continues to host millions of pilgrims each year. Official statistics show that in the first quarter of 2025, over 15 million pilgrims performed Umrah, including 6.5 million international pilgrims and 8.7 million domestic pilgrims. Additionally, more than 1.6 million Muslims from 180 nations took part in the 2025 Hajj pilgrimage.
