India’s expanding manufacturing strength under the Make in India initiative is being prominently showcased at the 21st edition of SteelFab 2026, underway from January 12 to 15 at the Sharjah Expo Centre in the United Arab Emirates. The India Pavilion has once again emerged as a key attraction at the region’s leading trade exhibition for steel fabrication and metalworking, drawing strong interest from global buyers, technology partners, and industry professionals.

SteelFab is widely regarded as a vital platform for innovation, product launches, live technology demonstrations, and cross-border business collaborations in the metalworking sector. Against this backdrop, the India Pavilion has reinforced India’s position as a reliable and competitive manufacturing hub, particularly in advanced engineering and fabrication solutions.

  • Organised by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) since 2023, the pavilion has steadily evolved into an effective bridge between Indian manufacturers and international markets

  • It highlights the country’s growing capabilities across machine tools, welding and cutting technologies, automation systems, tube and pipe solutions, and end-to-end fabrication services

  • This year’s pavilion features around 31 Indian exhibitors, while total Indian participation at SteelFab 2026 stands at 54 companies

The Indian firms on display are presenting a broad portfolio of next-generation solutions, including CNC machinery, laser-based cutting systems, sheet metal forming equipment, fabrication machinery, power tools, and automation technologies. These offerings have generated sustained interest among visitors, reflecting the increasing global demand for cost-effective, high-quality, and technology-driven manufacturing solutions from India.

Beyond product showcases, SteelFab 2026 continues to provide extensive business networking opportunities. Hosted-buyer programmes, live demonstrations, and structured B2B meetings are enabling Indian companies to engage directly with potential distributors, system integrators, and strategic partners. The exhibition has proven particularly valuable for strengthening connections with buyers from the Gulf region, Africa, and other emerging markets.
