Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath met members of the Indian community, including children of Indian origin, during his visit to Yamanashi in Japan. The diaspora welcomed him warmly, with several children touching his feet as a mark of respect and reciting Sanskrit shlokas. The Chief Minister praised the young participants for preserving Indian culture and traditions while living overseas. He later distributed chocolates and interacted with their families, describing the meeting as a proud and emotional moment.

Addressing business leaders in Singapore, he presented Uttar Pradesh as a safe and fast-growing investment destination. He assured investors of strong law and order, policy stability and efficient governance. He highlighted the state’s progress in improving its Ease of Doing Business rankings and simplifying regulations.
Adityanath also underlined India’s broader economic rise under Prime Minister Narendra Modi, stating that the country is moving steadily towards becoming the world’s third-largest economy. He noted that Uttar Pradesh’s Gross State Domestic Product has grown from ₹13 lakh crore to ₹36 lakh crore in nine years, contributing 9.5 per cent to India’s GDP.
