Armenia introduces visa-free entry for Indians with overseas residency

Armenia is offering visa-free travel to many Indians living abroad

— Armenia has announced visa-free travel for Indian passport holders who possess valid residence permits from countries such as the United States, Gulf states and European Union nations.

The policy allows eligible travelers to stay in Armenia for up to 180 days per year.

Tourism authorities say the move aims to attract international visitors and strengthen economic ties with India and its global diaspora

Travel analysts note that diaspora Indians represent an increasingly important segment of international tourism.

Many Indian professionals working abroad travel frequently for leisure and business, making them a lucrative market for tourism industries.
