After completing his IGCSEs years ahead of schedule, 14-year-old Jainam Jain is pursuing entrepreneurship full-time with a Dubai-based artificial intelligence venture
Dubai-based teenager Jainam Jain is taking an unconventional route to success after completing his Grade 10 equivalent education at just 13 and launching an artificial intelligence startup a year later.
Originally from Pune, India, Jainam moved to Dubai with his family when he was around five years old. He credits his upbringing for nurturing an early interest in business, technology and self-development. Encouraged by his parents to embrace challenges and learn through experience, he developed an entrepreneurial mindset from a young age.
Over the years, Jainam and his younger sister undertook a series of ambitious projects. These included attending dozens of networking events, reading large numbers of personal development books and conducting motivational talks across India. In 2022, the siblings exceeded their goal of hosting 100 events in 50 days, eventually delivering 120 sessions and reaching more than 50,000 people across Maharashtra.

His entrepreneurial journey began even earlier through a YouTube channel launched with his sister

Initially focused on toy reviews before shifting to science experiments, the channel quickly attracted more than 100,000 subscribers and led to invitations from schools and organisations
Determined to accelerate his education, Jainam researched alternative academic pathways and completed his IGCSE examinations through the Cambridge curriculum after around 105 days of preparation. Rather than immediately pursuing further studies, he chose to focus on building a business.
His startup, Mengo, is currently in beta and aims to serve as an AI-powered business assistant, helping companies automate tasks such as marketing, customer engagement, content creation and sales processes. Jainam says around 100 businesses have joined the waiting list. Due to legal age requirements, his father is listed as a co-founder, although Jainam oversees product development and daily operations.
Looking ahead, the 14-year-old hopes not only to build successful companies but also to encourage young people to pursue ambitious goals and explore opportunities beyond traditional career paths.
