The Adani Group said it had chalked out plans to invest Rs 1 lakh crore in Karnataka over the next seven years, reported businessworld.in. The investment promise made on November 2 will see Adani growing its presence across sectors in Karnataka, according to Karan Gautam Adani.
Speaking at the Invest Karnataka Summit 2022, the Adani Ports and SEZ Limited CEO said that the Adani Group had already made investments amounting to Rs 20,000 crore in the state across sectors including power, cement, transport, edible oil, city piped gas, logistics and digital.
“The Adani Group has set up cement manufacturing capacity of over seven million tonnes across Karnataka and will be looking to expand its presence in the sector.”

“When I combine all of the sectors that we will be investing and we will be expanding in the state of Karnataka, we would be looking at almost Rs 1 lakh crore of investment in the next seven years,” he said.
Karna Adani also said that the Group would be investing more in the renewable energy sector in Karnataka. The Adani Group has set up cement manufacturing capacity of over seven million tonnes across Karnataka and will be looking to expand its presence in the sector, Karan Adani said.
He also mentioned that the Group was looking to expand Mangaluru International Airport soon.
