ADF Abroad Presentation of EDEN by Mezzo-soprano Joyce DiDonato in Paris

The multi award-winning artist who has been described as “iconic” and “ground-breaking” was joined by the IL Pomo d’Oro orchestra for a spectacular performance co-commissioned by Abu Dhabi Festival and staged by acclaimed director Marie Lambert-Le Bihan. 

 

 

Paris, France: As part of its abroad programme and its commitment to partnering with the greatest institutions to present new works on the world’s most renowned stages, Abu Dhabi Festival announced the successful presentation of Grammy award-winning American lyric-coloratura mezzo-soprano and leading opera star, Joyce DiDonato’s ‘EDEN’ at the Theatre Des Champs-Elysees in Paris last Wednesday, October 5.

The multi award-winning artist who has been described as “iconic” and “ground-breaking” was joined by the IL Pomo d’Oro orchestra for a spectacular performance co-commissioned by Abu Dhabi Festival and staged by acclaimed director Marie Lambert-Le Bihan. 

Accompanied by the voices of local youth choirs, DiDonato took audiences on an emotional journey celebrating the majesty, might and mystery of Nature through the transformative power of music.
