Bhutan King takes a holy dip in Sangam during Maha Kumbh

CM Yogi Adityanath joins Bhutan King Jigme Khesar Namgyal Wangchuk in sacred rituals at Prayagraj

Bhutan King Jigme Khesar Namgyal Wangchuk took a holy dip in the Sangam on Tuesday as part of the ongoing Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Water Power Minister Swatantra Dev accompanied him during the sacred ritual. The royal delegation also participated in the Ganga Puja, reported ddnews.gov.in.

Bhutan King and CM Yogi traveled by boat to Sangam and offered prayers.

The Bhutan King and CM Yogi arrived in Prayagraj together from Lucknow and proceeded to the Sangam by road. Boarding a boat from Arail Ghat, they reached the confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati rivers, where they took a ritual bath.

During their visit, they also fed birds and planned to visit the Lat Hanuman Temple and Akshayvat to offer prayers.

CM Yogi welcomed the Bhutan King with a flower bouquet in Lucknow

King Jigme Khesar Namgyal Wangchuk landed in Lucknow on Monday, where CM Yogi Adityanath welcomed him at the airport with a floral tribute and exchanged greetings. Artists performed cultural presentations in honor of the King, who appreciated their efforts.

Maha Kumbh witnesses a massive turnout on Vasant Panchami

On the auspicious occasion of Vasant Panchami, millions of devotees participated in the final Amrit Snan of Maha Kumbh on Monday. Devotees, along with the Akharas, continued their holy dip throughout the day under tight security arrangements.
