BNI all set to launch Oman operations

“We proudly started working on it by identifying business opportunities that can ultimately benefit the country socially and economically, the results of which can be seen in the overall growth of families and communities. BNI Oman has an objective to bring smile to over 50,000 people in Oman by the end of 2040.”

Business referral networking organisation BNI (Business Network International) is all set to begin operations in Oman. With this, Oman will be the 77th country where the BNI will have its direct representation.

The BNI representatives did a ‘Visitor Info Meeting’ at Grand Millennium on Monday to discuss the launch process in Oman and shared the importance of an excellent system that can hugely benefit Oman based businesses.

“Internationally it has been supporting businesses for 38 years and now Oman based businesses have opportunity to acquire BNI services to grow and increase customer base,” said a post event press release issued on Monday.

The BNI organises weekly business meetings to connect its members with diverse business partners with a view to grow business and increase customer base.

Dr Ivan Misner founded BNI in the USA. He is known as father of modern networking.

“The meeting is in line with Oman’s official recognition as the 77th country of the BNI. Global Chairman and CEO of BNI, Graham Weihmiller emphasized that now Oman based businesses have the opportunity to engage with BNI services to increase their businesses and grow customer base using the modernised business networking and globally proven system,” a BNI press release said.

Oman, according to BNI, has great potential to grow as per its Oman vision 2040 and the businesses operating in the country can benefit from the Vision provided they have right traction and proper networking.

“We proudly started working on it by identifying business opportunities that can ultimately benefit the country socially and economically, the results of which can be seen in the overall growth of families and communities. BNI Oman has an objective to bring smile to over 50,000 people in Oman by the end of 2040,” said Saleem Althaf, National Director BNI Oman.

“I have learned one very important thing in life. To be successful, we need to be surrounded by growth oriented and like-minded people. My quest ended with BNI. This one organisation has elevated my experience as a life coach and a speaker to an altogether new level. I am now on a mission to transform many more lives in days ahead to come. I cannot imagine even one single other organization that can bring such synergy together & harness potential of its members like BNI does, in a timely, structured manner.”

With BNI’s support more than 1,000 businesses in the neighbouring UAE and Qatar have turned into successful ventures. In the GCC, the BNI has its presence also in Bahrain. “Now it’s an opportunity for Oman based businesses to connect with qualitative businesses of GCC efficiently through BNI,” Saleem Althaf said.

BNI member Yusuf Baramatiwala admits the role of BNI in the growth of his business. I cannot imagine even one single other organization that can bring such synergy together & harness potential of its members like BNI does, in a timely, structured manner,” he said.

BNI’s largest business networking conclave was held in Singapore on November 16, 2022, in which participants from 76 countries took part. During this meeting Oman was mentioned as a potential destination with which BNI members can start businesses. “Now some core members of BNI Oman are excited to participate in the November 2023 BNI global conclave at Madrid, Spain and showcase businesses in the world’s largest business networking conclave.

“Joining BNI Oman is a great way to expand your network, increase your visibility, and grow your business. Whether you are a small business owner, entrepreneur, or professional, BNI Oman can provide you with the tools, resources, and support you need to achieve your goals,” said another member of the BNI in Oman.
