After making waves in the UAE, Campa Cola steps into Oman’s vibrant F&B market
After a successful launch in the UAE, India’s iconic soft drink brand Campa Cola has made its debut in Oman, marking another major milestone for Reliance Consumer Products, which acquired the brand in 2022, reported gulfnews.com.
Campa Cola holds a nostalgic place in the hearts of Indian expatriates across the Gulf, alongside other beloved brands like Thums Up. For many, it represents a taste of home, especially for those who recall the brand’s dominance before the 1990s return of global giants Pepsi and Coca-Cola to the Indian market.
Reliance sees long-term growth for Campa Cola in Gulf markets.
Since its acquisition by Reliance, Campa Cola has undergone a brand revival, winning over a new generation of consumers. “Campa isn’t just a drink; it’s a revival of a legacy, a taste of India, and a celebration of the spirit of today’s youth,” said Ketan Mody, Chief Operating Officer of Reliance Consumer Products.
Mody added, “We are excited to enter the Oman market with Campa, a heritage Indian brand founded more than 50 years ago. We are investing for the long-term and see great potential for accelerated growth in the region. We have a track record of delivering innovative and global quality products at affordable prices to customers.”
In Oman, the Campa range will initially include three flavors: Campa Cola, Campa Lemon, and Campa Orange. This expansion reinforces Reliance Consumer Products’ ambition to make Campa Cola a global name once again by tapping into markets with strong Indian diaspora communities and growing demand for nostalgic, quality beverages.
