Canada is offering the most number of flights between India and Canada during the March break. National carrier Air Canada recently announced that it will be operating 21 flights a week from Delhi to major hubs of Canada: Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver. The airline will be using Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner and Boeing 777 aircraft from Toronto and Montreal.
Mark Galardo, Senior Vice President, Network Planning and Revenue Management, Air Canada, said, “India and Canada have strong and close ties and people from both countries are eager to travel to visit family and friends, take a long-delayed holiday or conduct business. Air Canada makes this convenient by offering a total of 21 return flights weekly between Delhi and Toronto, Montreal, and Vancouver. We are the carrier with the most flights between India and Canada, and will return to nonstop service between Toronto, Montreal, and Delhi, showing our deep commitment to this important market.”
Air Canada’s new refund policy is applicable to all tickets purchased. It offers customers the option of a full refund to the original form of payment, an Air Canada Travel Voucher, or the equivalent value in Aeroplan Points with a 65 per cent bonus should the airline cancel or reschedule a flight by more than three hours
All aircraft feature Signature Class, Premium Economy, and Economy cabins. All flights will provide for Aeroplan accumulation and redemption and, for eligible customers, priority check-in, Maple Leaf Lounge access, priority boarding, and other benefits.
In March, flights operate daily from Delhi to Toronto, with a second flight on Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday. There is also a daily service to Vancouver and flights to Montreal four times a week on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday.
