Canada’s immigrants are leaving for “greener pastures”

A study by the Institute for Canadian Citizenship and the Conference Board of Canada points out that immigrants are leaving Canada in pursuit of “greener pastures”, reported Khalsa Vox. According to the study’s findings, the research has sparked concerns with its findings. The study revealed that approximately 17.5 per cent of immigrants who arrived during this period eventually opted to emigrate within 20 years. The statistics call it “vital” to recognise that emigration rates have been steadily increasing since the 1980s.

According to the study, a certain rise in outward migration exceeds the historical average by 31 per cent. These statistics have gathered the attention of people.  The statistics also showcase that a significant majority opt to stay in Canada.
