Two-Michelin-starred Chef Garima Arora has taken Indian cuisine to new heights—literally—through an exclusive partnership with Qatar Airways, which unveiled its first Garima-designed Business Class menu on November 15, 2025. Rolled out across the airline’s Doha–India routes, the collaboration features four rotating menu cycles, each celebrating a distinct culinary theme from India’s vast gastronomic landscape.

The opening menu is rooted in Ayurveda and India’s vegetarian traditions, drawing inspiration from the seasonal, nurturing principles of Sattvik cuisine. Chef Garima describes this cycle as an effort to share the depth, artistry, and healthfulness of Indian vegetarian cooking with a global audience.

  • Garima Arora’s dessert offering—Masala Chai Mousse with Parle-G “Dunker”—cements the menu’s emotional connection
  • Inspired by the universal Indian memory of dipping Parle-G biscuits into hot tea, Garima reimagines this ritual as a refined dessert featuring candied ginger–stuffed raspberries

The curated dishes include a sophisticated reinterpretation of chaat, combining berry sorbet, dal dumplings, pomegranate drizzle, and sweet yogurt—balancing nostalgia with fine-dining elegance. At the heart of the main course is My Grandmother’s Millet Khichdi, celebrating India’s millet revival following the UN-declared International Year of Millets 2023. Served with homemade pickles, condiments, and warm shorba, the dish pairs comfort with Ayurvedic nourishment.

Qatar Airways’ Senior VP of Product Development and Design, Xia Cai, emphasized that the partnership aligns with the airline’s commitment to exceptional on-board experiences. With Qatar Airways consistently ranked as the World’s Best Airline and Best Business Class by Skytrax, the collaboration amplifies the airline’s focus on culturally rich and elevated dining.
