Young innovators to represent India at IEEE Junior Einstein Programme in Malaysia
Students from Aditya Vidyashram Gurugram won the top prize at Bigbang 2025 and will now showcase their innovation on a global stage, reported timesofindia.indiatimes.com.
Their project on a communication device for the deaf and blind earned them national recognition.
Over 1,100 young innovators, aged 12 to 17, displayed their groundbreaking projects at the national-level science exhibition Bigbang 2025, held in Coimbatore on Saturday.
Out of 258 submissions from seven states across India, 128 projects were selected for the grand finale. The first prize was secured by students from Coimbatore-based Aditya Vidyashram Gurugram for their innovative communication device designed for people who are deaf and blind.
The team will now represent India at the prestigious IEEE Junior Einstein Programme in Malaysia in August 2025.
Air Commodore Ajay Kunnath of the Indian Air Force, New Delhi, presented awards to the winners and recognized the top 20 exhibitors with certificates.
The first prize winners received a cash award of ₹30,000, while the first and second runners-up were awarded ₹20,000 and ₹10,000, respectively.
