Dubai Real Estate Connect: Starting from India, The initiative aims to boost Dubai’s standing as a global leader in real estate investment
As part of a major move to enhance Dubai’s reputation as a premier global real estate destination, the Dubai Land Department (DLD), in collaboration with Q4 Consultants and IIFL Group, launched the ‘Dubai Real Estate Connect’ initiative in New Delhi, India.
The event, graced by His Excellency Dr Abdul Nasser Al Shaali, UAE Ambassador to India, brought together top investors, entrepreneurs, and key decision-makers from India’s real estate sector, reported constructionweekonline.com.
The ‘Dubai Real Estate Connect’ initiative is part of DLD’s wider ‘Real Estate I’ Dubai Real Estate Promotion Strategy, aimed at fostering international cooperation and strengthening investment links with strategic global markets like India. This roadshow forms a core part of DLD’s efforts to position Dubai among the top three global cities for real estate investment by 2033.
The DLD delegation included key figures such as Majida Ali Rashid, CEO of the Real Estate Development Sector; Majid Al Marri, CEO of the Real Estate Registration Sector; Khalifa Al Zeriem Al Suwaidi, CEO of Emirates Real Estate Solutions; and Mohammed Yahya, Director of the Real Estate Transactions Department. A detailed presentation showcased Dubai’s real estate investment landscape, highlighting opportunities, technological innovations, and streamlined regulatory frameworks that make Dubai a preferred investment destination.
During the event, the delegation outlined strategic initiatives including modern urban planning trends, simplified regulatory procedures, integrated digital services, and bilateral efforts to strengthen investment flows. Special emphasis was placed on Dubai’s transparent real estate laws, smart digital platforms like the Dubai REST app, blockchain-based Tokenisation Project, AI-powered Smart Rental Index, and the ‘She Pioneers’ initiative supporting women in real estate.
Dubai Land Department targets stronger international ties through real estate promotion strategy
Majida Ali Rashid noted that launching the roadshow in India opened “new avenues for cooperation and investment,” while highlighting Dubai’s visionary real estate ecosystem. She also announced that DLD was honoured to participate in recognising leading women in India’s real estate sector during the event, reflecting the vital role women play in driving market growth.
Majid Al Marri added that the initiative was “more than a promotional event,” describing it as a key economic bridge linking Dubai and India, with the goal of fostering sustainable growth, innovation, and strategic business partnerships between the two markets.
The initiative aligns closely with the Dubai Economic Agenda D33, which targets doubling the emirate’s economy over the next decade by promoting sustainable, innovation-led growth. By reaching out to top foreign investor markets like India—currently the largest group of foreign investors in Dubai’s real estate—the DLD is reinforcing Dubai’s position as a global hub for real estate investment and sustainable urban development.
