Dubai-based billionaire Hussain Sajwani, the powerhouse behind Donald Trump’s $20 billion US data centre initiative, recently met tech titan Elon Musk and his partner Shivon Zilis at the White House. The rare encounter was captured in a candid photograph that Sajwani shared across social media platforms including X, Facebook, and LinkedIn, reported timesofindia.com.

“Had a great breakfast at the White House with Elon Musk and family — a memorable morning,” Sajwani posted, giving a rare peek into the tech-elite circle.

The photograph, which has since gained viral attention, shows Musk casually holding a plate of food with Zilis standing beside him, smiling for the camera. The breakfast meeting is seen as a symbolic crossover between global real estate, tech innovation, and political influence.

Who is Hussain Sajwani?

Sajwani, chairman of DAMAC Properties, recently made headlines with his staggering pledge to invest $20 billion into building cutting-edge data centres across the United States. The initiative, revealed at a press event at Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort, targets infrastructure expansion in key states such as Arizona, Texas, and Michigan.

The 71-year-old mogul, worth an estimated $10.2 billion, said the investment could surpass the $20 billion mark depending on market conditions. Calling Trump’s potential return to the White House “amazing news,” Sajwani reaffirmed the strength of their longstanding relationship — which began when DAMAC partnered with the Trump Organization to build a luxury golf course in Dubai.

Trump praised Sajwani during the announcement, calling him “one of the most respected business leaders in the Middle East, indeed the world,” and framed the data centre project as key to America’s future in AI and technology.

As AI, cloud computing, and data infrastructure continue to dominate global investment conversations, Sajwani’s White House presence — especially alongside Musk — signals the fusion of tech ambition with strategic global alliances.
