The swift and professional handling of the situation by the flight crew and airport authorities ensured passenger safety and minimized disruption
An Air India Express flight from Dubai, bound for Karipur Airport, executed a precautionary landing on Friday morning due to a suspected hydraulic system failure, according to airport officials, reported The Indian Express.
Despite the initial concerns, the landing was executed without incident, and all passengers and crew disembarked safely. Following the successful landing, the emergency status at the airport was officially withdrawn
The flight, identified as IX344, landed safely at Karipur at approximately 8:30 am, with 182 people onboard, including six crew members. The pilot’s suspicion of a hydraulic issue prompted the airport to declare a full emergency as a safety measure.
