Dubai is facilitating easier travel between India and the UAE with the introduction of a five-year multiple-entry tourist visa. This initiative aims to fortify the longstanding economic ties and foster sustained collaborations between the two nations while also promoting tourism and business opportunities.

To apply for this visa, applicants must meet certain criteria. These include maintaining a bank balance of at least $4,000, possessing a valid UAE health insurance policy, holding a round-trip ticket, and providing documentation of their stay in the UAE, such as a hotel reservation or residential address.

Upon approval, the visa is typically issued within 2-5 working days. It allows the holder to stay in the UAE for up to 90 days initially, with the option to extend once for a similar period. However, the total duration of stay within a year should not exceed 180 days

Required documents for the application process include a colored photograph, a copy of the passport, proof of health insurance, a recent bank statement, a detailed tour itinerary, and a confirmed ticket for the next trip.

Applying for the visa can be done through convenient digital channels, such as the GDRFA website and mobile application, or in-person at a Customer Happiness Centre. Regardless of the method chosen, applicants need to ensure all necessary paperwork is in order and fees are paid promptly.
