Exploring collaboration in technology, trade, and space innovation
LONDON:
Tech billionaire Elon Musk expressed his support for reducing trade barriers between the US and India during an exclusive gathering of Indian business leaders at SpaceX’s Starbase facility in Texas. The first-of-its-kind event, organized by India Global Forum (IGF) founder Manoj Ladwa, provided a platform for Indian entrepreneurs to engage with Musk and explore potential collaborations in technology, space exploration, and artificial intelligence (AI), reported timesofindia.indiatimes.com.
“India is one of the ancient and complex civilizations,” Musk remarked, highlighting its critical role in the global innovation landscape. Attendees, including leaders from sectors like technology, manufacturing, and renewable energy, discussed opportunities for partnerships in space exploration, AI, and financial technology.
The meeting underscored India’s growing influence in global innovation and the potential for deeper US-India collaboration
Participants included prominent figures such as Essar Capital director Prashant Ruia, Kotak811 co-head Jay Kotak, OYO founder Ritesh Agarwal, Flipkart CEO Kalyan Raman, Aditya Birla Group director Aryaman Birla, Apparel Group chairman Nilesh Ved, and author Amish Tripathi.
The delegation toured SpaceX’s cutting-edge facilities, with Musk discussing the transformative potential of technology through his ventures. He shared SpaceX’s vision of expanding human consciousness and announced advancements in AI, stating, “We’re confident that Grok 3 will soon become the world’s most sophisticated AI.”
Manoj Ladwa emphasized the importance of global collaboration, particularly as the US transitions to a Trump presidency. “India’s rise offers limitless opportunities, and this meeting signifies the potential for powerful partnerships to shape a sustainable, technology-driven future,” Ladwa said.
