Leadership voices support for global cooperation: Majd Al Shehhi, Director of ERRA, highlighted that the collaboration reinforces ERRA’s role in protecting creators’ rights locally and globally. She stated, “This partnership empowers creators to monetise their intellectual output fairly and sustainably, ensuring the sustainability of the publishing sector in the digital era.”
Pranav Gupta, representing the Indian Reprographic Rights Organisation, called the agreement a significant step for international cooperation. He emphasized that it will allow creators to expand their reach globally while ensuring fair compensation in international markets.
Wong Sharon, Executive Director of the Hong Kong Reprographic Rights Licensing Society, echoed similar sentiments. She noted that the agreement will establish frameworks for the fair use of creative content while maximizing returns for authors and publishers, contributing to a sustainable creative ecosystem.
