Wilfried Martens Centre highlights untapped potential of Indian talent in Europe

The policy director of the Wilfried Martens Centre for European Studies, the think tank of Europe’s largest political party, the European People’s Party (EPP), has emphasized the need for more skilled Indian professionals in the European Union.

Speaking to WION’s Sidhant Sibal in Brussels Dr Peter Hefele pointed out that while many Indians are already contributing to Europe, their potential remains underutilized.

He stressed the importance of attracting qualified Indian talent to strengthen the EU workforce, reported wionews.com.

Dr Hefele highlighted that the European job market can greatly benefit from Indian expertise across various sectors.

He called for policies that facilitate the integration of skilled Indian professionals into the EU workforce emphasizing the mutual benefits of such an initiative.

His remarks come at a time when Europe is focusing on enhancing its global talent pool to remain competitive in the evolving economic landscape.
