MoU signing marks a milestone in India-UAE relations, launching a healthcare project dedicated to Dubai’s blue-collar heroes
Entrepreneur and philanthropist Faizal Kottikollon has lauded the UAE leadership following the formal signing of the UAE-India Friendship Hospital Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), a landmark step in delivering compassionate healthcare to Dubai’s blue-collar workforce, reported zawya.com.
The MoU was signed during the visit of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum to India, and reflects a commitment to honour the workers who have played a crucial role in the UAE’s rapid growth and development. Kottikollon extended his deep appreciation to Sheikh Hamdan, the Dubai Health Authority, and Dr. Amer Ahmed Sharif, along with several dedicated partners who helped realize the vision.
The UAE-India Friendship Hospital will serve as a symbol of care, community, and enduring friendship between the two nations.
“The signing of this MoU is more than the start of a hospital project — it’s the launch of a humanitarian mission,” said Kottikollon. “This facility will bring essential medical services to those who have contributed so much to the UAE’s success.”
The hospital, designed to offer accessible, affordable healthcare to the UAE’s working-class population, underscores the strong people-to-people bond between India and the UAE. Kottikollon praised the collaborative spirit that defined the effort and expressed gratitude to the Indian Embassy, Consulate, and the UIBC-UC team for their unwavering support in structuring and executing the project.
“The UAE-India Friendship Hospital will stand as a lasting monument of compassion and cooperation,” he added. “It reaffirms our shared humanitarian values and the cultural bridge that continues to connect our nations.”
